Antique Dresser Mirror with Brass Candle Holders and Villeroy & Boch Tiles

A late nineteenth-century Victorian dresser mirror featuring brass candle holders and antique Villeroy & Boch transfer print tiles. The 38-inch wide rectangular dresser mirror has a simple arched molding at the top, with a wood frame around the mirror glass. The bottom of the mirror is embellished with a row of five inset antique Villeroy & Boch yellow and brown transferware tiles framed in wood molding. A pair of antique brass candle holders flank the mirror, and have expanding arms to adjust the light. Beneath the mirror to either side is a small wood shelf. A hanging wire is affixed to the back. No maker’s marks.
