A pastoral oil on canvas landscape painting with cows. It depicts cows in a pasture next to a stream and large trees on the other side of the stream. It is mounted in an ornate gilt frame with applied gesso decoration and fitted with wire for hanging.

Condition

- long scratch near the upper edge of the canvas; additional loss of paint to the upper left; chips framed and loss of applied decoration.
