An original 2005 oil painting on canvas by well-listed contemporary American Western genre painter Randy Follis (Texas/New Mexico; born 1939), titled Grasslands Cowboy. The image depicts a cowboy on his horse, standing amidst flat, grassy plains, watching over a herd of cattle from a distance. Artist signature and date are signed in paint to the lower right, and marked again to the verso with title. This work is mounted behind a wooden gilt liner in a beveled wood frame, wire to hang.
