An oil painting on canvas of portraiture by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (1939 – 2010). This painting depicts a woman seated in side portraiture against a layered background of paint splatters featuring a palette of yellow, crimson, orange and white. An artist signature is seen to the lower right corner of the composition. The canvas is wrapped over a wooden stretcher. Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992.
