Hand Made Lemoyne Star Quilt

Item Details

A handmade Lemoyne Star quilt. This quilt features a variety of fabrics with a blue and mauve base, yellow frames, and multiple fabrics making up sixteen Lemoyne Stars blocks, with the blocks to each edge sewn under the peach border. The backing of the quilt a patchwork of random scraps. There are no identifying marks.

Condition

- slight discoloration to border; small stains and tears to underside of quilt; faint aroma of pipe tobacco smoke.
