An original oil painting on canvas by listed American artist Phillip Cantrell (Michigan, born 1922). The painting depicts a small reflective stream curving through an autumnal forest landscape. A small dirt path recedes into a wide glowing field in the distance. The painting is signed in brown to the lower left. It is presented in a wooden frame with fly-specked gold tone finish, white linen lining, and a sawtooth hanger attached to the verso.
