A circa 1930s semi-antique Persian Liliham Sarouk area rug. This cotton and wool pile area rug features a center medallion with a teal, deep blue, red, salmon and ochre palette upon a red field with floral motifs and green spandrels. The three borders have ochre and deep blue fields punctuated with red, salmon, blue, green and cream floral accents. The natural cotton warp fringe is closely trimmed.
