Marathon Gasoline "Paperlynen" Visor Advertising Giveaways
Item Details
A grouping of forty-two vintage Marathon Gasoline ‘Paperlynen’ sun visors in the original Paperlynen cardboard box. The cardboard visors would have been offered as advertising giveaways, being marked ‘Marathon Products’ to top in blue and being secured to back with elastic straps. The box features wonderful vintage graphics in green in white, being marked by the Paperlynen Company and proclaiming the visors as ‘Economical; Self-Adjusting; Comfortable.’
Condition
- some minor toning and rubbing, the visors appear new and unused. There is wear to box, with a missing end flap and tape to opposite end.
