Item Details
A watercolor painting on paper by Bertram Goodman with carved wood and gilt frame. This piece features a harbor scene with a wharf holding a large sailing boat. Signed by the artist to the lower right corner. Presented behind glass, beneath off-white matting; housed in a wood frame with a rectilinear sight edge, a raised curved top edge, slightly undulated cove surrounded by a fine schematic leaf running pattern to the back edge. There are two newspaper art articles and a ‘Marty Scherer’ gallery label affixed to the verso.
Condition
- scuffing, minor abrasion, scratches and missing gesso areas on frame.
