A 1962 Cincinnati Reds souvenir baseball yearbook with Mr. Reds hosting the 1961 National League banner on the front cover. This publication features eighty-four pages of player black and white photos, local advertisements, and other information pertaining to the Cincinnati Reds. With bold patriotic colors on its front cover, this yearbook reads ‘1962 Spring Training Edition.’ Players such as Vada Pinson, Frank Robinson, Jim Maloney, Gus Bell, Joey Jay, John Edwards, Bob Purkey, Jim O’Toole, Leo Cardenas and others are presented. There is also a photo of a young Pete Rose depicted in his Minor League attire and photos of historic Crosley Field. With a tight binding, all the pages are intact. Finally, there is a red 1961 plastic megaphone or horn that features a batter with the saying ‘Go Reds Go! Our Champions’ in white lettering.
Condition
Pre-owned. Bold and vivid colors on the front cover. Some of the inside pages have upper corner folds. Edge and surface wear. Exhibiting appropriate age wear. The megaphone is missing its mouthpiece and metal chain. The megaphone has some scuffing and age soiling.
