A bronze abstract sculpture on a bronze base, by the Michigan native and sculptor Thomas McClure (American, 1920-2009), titled, The Wall. Dated to the late 20th century, the work is on a bronze base with several cross supports to the underside. Stamped with the artist’s name along the base.

McClure and the late Robert Metcalf were friends, and evidence of their previous correspondence is included with the lot, in mention to a larger, outdoor example that was stolen from the Metcalf home.
