Item Details

A pair of Japanese kokeshi dolls and a kpanlogo drum. The cylindrical dolls are decorated in a classic style. One is decorated in shades of light vermilion and the smaller in shades of indigo and pale blue. Both are marked to the underside. The small kpanlogo drum is painted black and ochre with carved detail. This type of drum originates from the Ga people of Ghana and is used in kpanlogo music.
