A set of two pieces of East Asian artwork. Featured is an offset lithograph after a circa 1798 woodblock print by listed Japanese artist Kitagawa Utamaro I (喜多川 歌麿, circa 1753-1806). The image is titled Women After the Bath (湯上り) from the series _Elegant Five-Needled Pine (風流五葉の松). The piece is signed in-plate ‘Utamaro hitsu’ (歌麿筆) to the right margin. The print is presented under acrylic in a gold tone metal frame with hanging wire to the verso. The unsigned image depicts two female figures dressed in long robes, shown standing around a small wooden table with a censer an outdoor setting. The work is matted in white and presented under acrylic in a gold tone metal frame with a sawtooth hanger affixed to the verso.
