A. M. Pettec 1888 Oil Painting "Boy Blowing Bubbles"
Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas titled Boy Blowing Bubbles by A.M. Pettec. Signed by hand in paint and dated 1888 to the lower right corner, this painting depicts a young boy sitting on a log holding a pipe. The painting is mounted in a gold tone wood frame with floral plaster embellishments. A wire for hanging purposes and a note with the title of the piece and the artist are present to the verso of the frame.
Condition
- moderate edge wear on the frame, gesso embellishments on the frame are flaking off, a minor abrasion on the painting near the bottom left corner.
