Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by Bosworth. This depicts a young girl in a white dress and red stockings, with long red hair under a tall flower printed hat. She stands on a packed earth road, beside a grassy verge and her face is painted with round red cheeks and exaggerated long eyelashes. It is titled ‘Bosworth’ in blue, in the bottom right corner. This is presented in a wooden frame faced in black velour with a painted gold fillet.
Condition
- some moderate edge wear on the frame; crackling in minor areas; dent located the bottom right corner
