An oil painting on canvas of a cabin by Saminoff. Signed by hand in paint to the lower left corner, the piece depicts smoke coming out of a log cabin sitting in a wooded landscape. The painting is mounted in a carved and stained wood frame with a beige liner, brown wood fillet, a wire for hanging purposes, and a handwritten note reading ‘B835’ present to verso.

- finish on frame is worn on corners; stained to upper right; paper stuck to lower left.
