A limited edition woodblock print on paper of an owl by contemporary Japanese artist Yoshiharu Kimura (b. 1934), published in 1976. This print depicts an owl rendered within a spotted printed border with metallic embellishments. This piece is numbered 72 out of an edition of 85. This artist has signed his name in kanji as well as English along the bottom in graphite with the year. Presented behind acrylic glass in a metal silver frame.

Yoshiharu Kimura was born in Tokyo, Japan and was awarded a prize at the Nihon Banga-in Exhibition of 1957 an annual exhibition of the Japan Woodblock Academy. During 1962 he became a member of the Banga-in while later in 1978 joined the Kokugakei. His work has been exhibited in one-man shows in Philadelphia, United States of American and at the Yoseido Gallery in Tokyo, Japan.
