An oil painting on masonite of a fall landscape by Alex Dery, dated 1956. This colorful painting depicts a landscape in the middle of autumn and is filled with a pond surrounded by barren trees. Signed by hand in paint and dated to the lower left corner, the painting is mounted in a natural wood frame with a wire for hanging purposes and a decal with the name of the artist are present to verso. Dery is best known for his modernist landscapes.

- frame finish is worn throughout; colors are faded; board is somewhat loose, but still contained.
