Item Details
An oil painting on board titled Newport by John Franklin Hawkins, dated circa 1919. With a faded handwritten signature and date present to the lower right corner, the painting depicts the setting sun illuminating the sky above the crashing waves of the ocean hitting the beach. The painting is mounted in a stained wood frame with a wire for hanging purposes and an informative decal are present to verso.

- frame is scratched throughout; color is worn.
