An oil painting on canvas by Vincenzo II Belli (fl.1828 – 1859). This work depicts an Italian market scene with stylized figures walking throughout and a cityscape in the background. The piece is signed in paint to the lower left corner. It is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang. This is a companion item to 17SWF045-435.
Condition
- scattered areas of craquelure to painting; slight buckling of canvas to top right edge; minor wear to finish of frame.
