An original mid-century Abstract Expressionist figurative oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. This emotive image depicts four primordial stylized figures who glow luminously under the light of the night sky. A figure to the left bows her head as stands at a table, pouring from a white pitcher, while three others seem to evade the pictorial space with a sense of urgency, one of them making eye contact with the viewer as he moves to the right. In the distance, two palm trees are silhouetted under the stars. There is no artist signature. This painting is mounted in a simple wood slat frame.

- light accretion on painting. Slat frame is worn along edges and corners, with chips to finish.
