German PM Bisque Jointed Doll
Item Details
A Porzellanfabrik Mengersgereuth (PM) doll with a bisque head and a composition body jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. The doll has a white bonnet with lace accents around brown hair and blue glass eyes in a painted face featuring eyebrows, lashes, rouged dimpled cheeks, and red lips. She wears a long dress with lace down the front and on the trim of her sleeves and hem, and there are knitted white booties on her feet. She carries a woven basket and is marked ‘PM, 914’ to the back of her neck. Does not include the metal doll stand shown in the photographs.
Condition
- to fair; hair needs brushed, fading to color on dress, bonnet, and hands one foot is repaired.
