1917 Bachrach Photogravure Portrait
Item Details
A 1917 photogravure portrait by Bachrach. This photo depicts a person in portraiture adorned in a period-specific robe clutching hold of what appears to be a portfolio. An artist signature and date are found to the lower right corner of the composition, with an embossed inscription reading ‘Bachrach’ to the lower center. The print is presented under glass beneath single-layered matting in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded acanthus leaf patterning to the surface and hanging wire to the verso.
