An original charcoal drawing by W. Herbert Dunton (American, 1878-1936) titled Taos Pueblo Indian Girl, Model: Corera Weeds, No. 76. The drawing depicts the head and shoulders of a young Native American woman. It is signed ‘Dunton of Taos’ to the lower right. It is also marked ‘W. Herbert Dunton ’31 ’Southwestern’ Series. By V.E. Dunton’. The drawing is presented with double black and white mats and glass in a chrome metal frame. Herbert Duncan was a founding member of the Taos Society of Artists.
