An original abstract acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary American Abstract Expressionist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati; born 1957), titled Cobalt Blues with Blues, circa 2010. This non-objective composition displays an undulating, tonal exploration of texture and cobalt pigment and its relationship to similar hues. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
