A German Handwerck bisque head doll with jointed composition body. This doll features a hand-painted bisque head with inset painted, glazed porcelain sleep eyes and an open mouth with teeth. The head is marked to the back ‘Handwerck Germany 421 2 3/0’. The head is socket fixed and the composition body is fully jointed at the wrists, elbows, shoulders, hips and knees. The ears are pierced and have copper wire fixed faux pearl earrings. Includes a metal doll stand.

Condition

- some soiling throughout, wear to fingertips, copper wire of earrings is oxidized, clothing is modern.
