Item Details
A reproduction offset lithograph poster, after an 1890 poster by Alexander (‘Alick’) Penrose Forbes Ritchie (Scottish, 1868-1938). The poster features the stylized visage of Colonel William F. ‘Buffalo Bill’ Cody, and advertises the old scout’s ‘Wild West’ show. It is signed within plate to the lower left side ‘Alick P. F. Ritchie’. The bottom border is marked with the title in the center and to the lower right edge ‘© Buffalo Bill Historical Center’. The poster is presented with glass in a matte silver tone metal frame and is ready to hang.
