Three Wedgwood Cobalt Jasperware Pieces
Item Details
A group of three Wedgwood cobalt blue jasperware pieces including two round covered trinket boxes, one is a shallow box with a single seated classical figure to the lid with fine floral border and floral vignettes to the sides of the base, incised ‘Wedgwood’ to the bottom. The second covered trinket box has a leaf motif to the lid and vignettes of classical figures to the sides with incised ‘Wedgwood’ and ‘England’ to the bottom. Plus a small bud vase in a bulbous form with tall thin neck. The vase has three vignettes of classical figures to the sides and a small simple band of leaves to the neck. Marked with incised ‘Wedgwood’ and ‘England’ to the bottom.
Condition
- fair, lid to the taller trinket box has two very small chips. All show some rust color discoloration.
Dimensions
Measurement is for the vase. Flat trinket box is 3.75" wide x 1.25" high. The second trinket box is 3.25" wide x 2.75" high.
