Antique Mount Airy Furniture Company Dresser

Item Details

An early 20th century dresser by the Mount Airy Furniture Company of Mount Airy, North Carolina. This piece has a burled veneer and a glass top. It features five drawers with bronze tone scrolled acanthus leaf pulls, a serpentine apron, and cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The dresser is embellished with carved floral and foliate motifs above the top drawer, to the apron, and on the knees. See item 17CHI040-022 for a coordinating piece.
