A Moravian star kit. The Moravian star, a traditional Christmas decoration originating in Germany, is a many-sided augmented polyhedron which is hung from the ceiling to represent a stylized twinkling star. This kit includes twenty-six translucent white pointed pyramids with small holes at their bases, metal brads for connecting the pieces, an assembly instruction sheet and a light socket with a cord to illuminate the completed star from within.
