Vintage John Chatillon & Sons Scale

Item Details

A vintage metal scale produced by John Chatillon & Sons. This single arm scale has one arm with a curved four prong rest for holding a cupped vessel, and a flat round platform on the other for standard metal weights. There is a toothed bar suspended between the arms marked from 0 to 16, from which a small barrel weight hangs. The scale is marked on the middle of the arms ‘John Chatillon & Sons Makers New York U.S.A.’, and has a small placard on the base which reads ‘Albert Pick Company Chicago’.

Condition

- some wear, scratches, tarnish, and rust.
