An original mixed media acrylic painting with neckties on canvas by contemporary American Abstract Expressionist painter Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati; born 1957), titled Drip Ties, circa 2010. The image depicts an energetic, non-objective composition of neckties dipped in thick paint and affixed to the canvas, and then obliterated with splatters of black, taupe and white paint. Artist signature is signed in black paint to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
