Antique French Longchamp "Terre de Fer" Majolica Oyster Plate
Item Details
A French ‘Longchamp’ Terre der Fer (French for ironstone) antique majolica oyster plate. The ceramic plate has six oyster sections decorated with light blue and brown accents. The plate has a muted green background with a wavy edge. It is stamped, ‘Longchamp Terre De Fer’ to the backside with the number, ‘0220’.
Condition
-minor marks throughout; some age cracks to ceramic; paint loss throughout
