Antique Parlor Treadle Cabinet with Singer 66 Sewing Machine

Item Details

A circa 1920s antique parlor treadle cabinet with a Singer 66 sewing machine. The cabinet is a dark eggshell finish featuring multiple doors for storage and parts and a top hinged leaf that folds out to allow the sewing machine to raise and lower within the cabinet. The sewing machine is a heavy duty piece in black with gold tone and red detailing along the body that features a bobbin winder and drop-in bobbin, a considerably more easy way of inserting the bobbin. The Singer 66 and 66K were considered top of the line and many of their components and mechanisms are still present in contemporary machines.
