A signed limited edition 2016 serigraph on cream speckled paper by well-listed and world-renowned American street artist, Shepard Fairey (California/South Carolina; born 1970), titled Media Target. The image depicts a static-y, subliminal montage of a portrait of celebrity Kylie Jenner combine with the George Washington portrait of the American one-dollar bill, backed with glimpses of the Obey Giant logo and newspaper headlines that read, ‘EXTRA! GO! GO! GO! / FEAR / GOSSIP / WEATHER’. Printed text to the bottom reads ‘Media Disintegration’. This work is numbered 217 in an edition of 450, signed and dated by the artist in pencil to the lower margin; protected behind glass in a black composite frame with a wire to the verso.
