Item Details
An original watercolor painting on paper by well-listed American genre painter Rober Fabe (1917-2004). The image depicts a woman sitting amongst sea grass and sand dunes somewhere on the East coast, gazing outwards toward the sea as gray clouds float overhead. Artist signature is signed in paint to the lower right. This work is mounted behind coordinating double mat, under glass in a beveled wood frame. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
Fabe’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum; Miami University; University of Cincinnati; Dayton Art Institute; and the Butler Art Institute, as well as many reputed corporate collections.
