An oil painting on canvas by John G. Lawson titled Studio Models (ca. 1980). This depicts a semi-nude woman, seated sideways upon a mustard sofa, her left leg bent up, as a man stands next to her, arms behind his back dressed only in shorts. The artist used a mottled color block with features missing, heads turned from each other. This work is signed illegibly in the bottom right corner of the canvas and presented unframed, mounted to a wooden stretcher.

Condition

- the nails along the sides of painting have mild rust.
