Leon Perskie Offset Lithograph "Franklin D. Roosevelt" and Bound Memorial Address

An offset lithograph after a graphite portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt by Leon Perskie (1899 – 1984) and a bound copy of the Memorial Address given to the joint houses of Congress on July 1, 1946. Perskie, the official photographer for Roosevelt and four other American Presidents, portrayed Roosevelt in three-quarter profile. The print is mounted under glass in a simple black wood frame that is wired for hanging. The cover of the bound memorial address reads ‘In Memoriam Franklin Delano Roosevelt’ in gilt. It was published by the Government printing office in 1948. The address was given by John Gilbert Winant.

- minor scratches to the frame; backing to print is loosely attached with tape.
