1960 Bartlett Framed Oil Painting of an Art Class
Item Details
A framed original oil painting on canvas of an art class by Bartlett, dated 1960. This highly textured painting depicts a class of students hard at work on their own individual paintings and is signed by hand in red paint to the lower right corner. The painting is mounted in a stained wood frame with a rope present to verso for hanging purposes.
Condition
- canvas and frame are bowed, small amount of craquelure to lower left, paint surface is very dusty, wear and chips and stains to frame.
