Item Details
A late 20th-century watercolor painting on paper of a waterside landscape by Bert McNomme (American, 1919-2017). The work depicts a calm and verdant scene on the banks of a placid lake. To the lower right corner is the artist’s signature. Under a double layer of white and cream matting, the item is presented under glass in silver-tone bevel and cove wood frame. McNomme was known regionally in eastern New Jersey for his watercolors.
Condition
- some discoloration to cream colored mat; general scuffing to frame, water stain to verso lower left; tear to paper backing.
