Item Details
A signed mixed media acrylic painting with pastel on paper titled Keys II, completed in 1986 by artist Rick Paul. This depicts a semi-abstract illustration of architectural structures and geometric shapes, including a house to the upper right, a ship to the left, a bridge, a plank, star shapes, structures with steps and ladders, and bodies of water. The overall composition is portrayed with a pastel palette, simple linear delineations, and gestural brushstrokes. This work is titled, signed and dated in pencil by the artist the lower left and right; presented under acrylic glass in a silver tone matte brushed metal frame. A label from the Toni Birckhead Gallery is adhered to the verso, along with a sticker that reads “Property of Scripps-Howard”.
Condition
- accretion and scratches across acrylic glass. Finish of frame is lightly worn.
