An Art Deco vanity and stool from Ideal Furniture Co. This vanity features a large oval mirror with braided and floral carvings to its sides. The dresser features geometric marquetry to the center, above its kneehole. It is flanked by two dovetailed drawers on either side, each of which features striped veneer around incised lines and a geometric pull. The vanity sits on ball-turned feet with casters. The stool features a low back with tiger oak veneer and a padded seat. The legs and apron are incised with an h-stretcher between them.
