A photo-acetate collage on paper and acid-free board titled The Show: Old Mythologies V (After Frederick W. Glasier) by Gregg Harper. This mixed media work depicts the photograph of a woman superimposed over the face and torso of a clown, which is placed over a green-tinted print of a cemetery. The work is presented behind white matting behind glass in a black wooden frame and wired ready to hang. A card is tucked into the bottom right corner of the frame with title information and a label attached to the verso reads ‘Visual Art & Jewelry Design – Gregg Harper – For Common Thread’ with the website, email and telephone number contact. Frederick Glasier (1866-1950) is known for circus photographs he took from 1890-1925. Gregg Harper exhibited at Cincinnati’s Contemporary Arts Center in 1974.
