A signed limited edition lithograph on paper titled Love Makes You Blind by Jan Balet (1913-2009). This piece depicts a man and woman holding guns, blindfolded and positioned in a standoff position. The print is numbered 23 in an edition of 300 to the lower left and is signed by hand to the lower right, all in graphite. Mounted under a single layer of white matting with a gray liner, the print is presented under acrylic glass in a silver tone wood frame with hanging wire present to verso. The print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a decal from Circle Fine Art Corporation. Balet, born in Bremen, Germany, studied at Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and is best known for his contemporary, satirical illustrations.
