Grace Maresca Original 1938 Watercolor Illustration of Dopey
Item Details
An original vintage 1938 watercolor illustration on paper by an artist named Grace Maresca. The illustration depicts Dopey, the playful character from Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in an iconic scene where he hiccups bubbles after swallowing a bar of soap. The illustration is signed and dated ‘5/38’ in pencil to the lower right. It is matted in blue and presented behind glass in a rounded wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
Condition
- paper is lightly yellowed with age.
