Item Details
A Shreve, Brown & Co. sterling silver pitcher. This piece features a beaded trim under the rolled rim and etched scroll foliage at the spout. There is a scrolled handle and meander border around the rotund body, which rests on a round, stepped base. The front is monogrammed ‘HCW’ and engraved with the date April 1864. The underside is stamped ‘Shreve, Brown & Co. Boston, 925 Sterling’.
Condition
- minimal surface scratches; small amount of dents; monogrammed.
