A pair of commemorative items. This round gold tone lapel pin has a relief image of a horse and rider in front of Churchill Downs and a dark green border with the text ‘Kentucky Derby 1969’. The commemorative bronze medallion features an image of the original D. H. Holmes department store building and the text ‘Holmes Original Store 1842’ on the obverse and an image of a village with the text ‘Holmes 1842–1981 / Salute to Acadian Village, Lafayette, LA’ on the reverse.
