1969 Mets World Championship Pennant
Item Details
A 1969 New York Mets pennant. The pennant is made of a soft material and has the Mets logo with ‘New York Mets World’s Champions 1969’ in orange lettering and graphics. The border and tassels are orange, the main body of the pennant is blue. The font used to create the lettering is indicative of the era. The Mets defeated the Baltimore Orioles four games to one. Hall of Famers Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver were pitchers on the Mets team.
