Item Details

A mid 19th-century gilt and gesso arched frame from around the 1860s. This frame features acanthus and bell flower style molding along the interior. The bottom corners have a ribbon and berry motif. To the verso, is a label from Marty Scherer Fine Paintings. This frame includes glass as well as a wooden backing.

Condition

- gesso is missing from edges; molding has been repaired along lower edge.
