Limited First Edition Two Volume Set On Whistler By Mansfield

A limited edition two volume set on Whistler by Mansfield. Featured are two limited first editions entitled Whistler In Belgium And Holland and Whistler As a Critic Of His Own Prints written by Howard Mansfield (M. Knoedler & Company, New York, 1935). The two volumes in the original slipcase are bound in cloth covered boards with protective glassine dust jackets and are number 455/525. The lettering to the front cover and spine is gilt.

Condition
The books have tight hidings and clean text pages. The original slipcase is missing the top edge, water marks are visible, and edge wear is evident. One glassine book cover is included but is ripped.
